Saturday April 24 YUMA CIVIC ORCHESTRA CONCERT
WHEN: 7 p.m.
WHERE: Arizona Western College Amphitheater
INFO: The Yuma Civic Concert is performing after a more than yearlong hiatus forced by the pandemic. The first – and only – public performance for the orchestra this season. Tickets will be sold at the concert for a suggested donation of $10. For more information, call 928-487-1344.
DEA NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION TAKE-BACK DAY
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Foothills Substation, 13190 E. South Frontage Road
GOING ON: YCSO will take any medications for disposal. The service is anonymous, no questions asked. Expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs, including tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs, can be dropped off, as well as vaping devices and cartridges provided lithium batteries are removed. Liquids, syringes and other sharps, and illegal drugs will not be accepted.

NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE MOTORCYCLE FUN RUN PRESENTED BY FREE WIND
WHEN: Registration begins at 9 a.m., kickstands up at 10 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Event starts at Bobby’s Territorial Harley Davidson, 2550 Gila Ridge Road. GOING ON: Be a voice for need – all proceeds from the event will benefit Amberly’s Place and the victims served in our community.
