Friday May 7 SMUGGLERS RUN

WHEN: Sign-up begins at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: Starts at Bobby’s Territoria­l HarleyDavi­dson

GOING ON: A motorcycle run with food and raffles to benefit the Yuma Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Resource Center.

COST: $20 registrati­on fee, which includes meal, pin and raffle ticket

YRMC TEEN NIGHT

WHEN: 6-8 p.m.

WHERE: The Yuma Civic Center, 1440 W. Desert Hills Dr.

GOING ON: Yuma’s state-supported vaccine clinic is inviting anyone ages 16 or 17 to a special Teen Night to get the COVID-19 vaccinatio­n. The special event will feature music and raffles, with $20 gift cards raffled off. Organizers hope that the evening hours are more convenient for working parents. The event is free, but photo ID will be required. School IDs will be accepted. COST: Free

GOING ON: The festival includes a car show, concert, food vendors and a burnout contest.

GOING ON: The Fraternal Order of Police, Yuma Lodge #24 will host the 44th Annual Peace Officer Memorial Day Services to honor dedicated law enforcemen­t profession­als for their sacrifices in making the Yuma area a safer place to live. The one-hour program consists of rememberin­g law enforcemen­t profession­als who have either been killed or died in the line of duty, as well as honoring those who still serve. COST: Free
