Steven Villicana, age 59 passed away in the presence of his loved ones on April 26, 2021. He was born on July 2nd, 1961 to his parents: Florencio and Virginia Villicana.

He was raised in Joliet, Illinois his whole life until he left to join the US Army at the age of 17. After his term of service, he moved to Yuma, Arizona to be closer to his family. While residing there, he went on to meet the love of his life, Susan Montague, who would become his wife for 38 years until his passing. He was a great father to his children: Steven and Cheyenne (Donald) and also a father figure to his nephew, Felix A Montague. He also had 4 grandchild­ren: Sierra and Steven Jr Villicana and Akai and Sayuri Menta. His passion was being a hard worker, as he was a journeyman electricia­n for 30 plus years. Working the majority of his time with the companies: D&H Electric and Delta Diversifie­d Enterprise­s (DDE). He lived a adventurou­s life, with many great stories to tell. He had so many good friends, who he made many great memories with.

Steve was the 6th child in his family and is survived by siblings are as listed: Carmen (Anthony) Nelson, David (Deborah) Villicana, Patricia Villicana Houlihan, Trina Villicana Besler, Juan (Deborah) Villicana, Leo (Bernadette) Villicana, Florencio Jr (Victoria) Villicana, Dolores (Ed) Guzman, Lupe (Phil) Rojas, Grace Villicana and Judy Villicana. Steve was also a great uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on May 7th, 2021 at Resthaven/ Carr-Tenney Mourtuary: 4310 E Southern Ave Phoenix, AZ from 4-8pm. After his viewing, he will be cremated and taken home to Yuma, AZ to be laid to rest. He will have a catholic mass at St. Francis of Assisi: 1815 S. Eigth Ave, Yuma, AZ on May 14th, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Following the mass, he will taken to the Ft. Yuma Quechan Cemetery where he will be laid to rest at 5pm.

Honorary Paul bearers and friends include: Felix J Montague, John Montague, Charles B Montague Sr, Wendell Yellowbull, Daniel Montavo, James Montague, Alfred Tatro, Bruce Montague, Alton Montague, Lionel Montague Sr, Tony Villicana, Tim Baumgarner, Emilio Koteen and Rodrigo Smoks Ramon and all his friends from Delta Diversifie­d Enterprise­s (DDE).

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Phoenix VA medical center and Hospice of the Valley (Team B) for the care and love they provided til his final hours of life.
