YUMA TERRITORIA­L MARATHON, HALF MARATHON AND 10K

WHEN: 6 a.m. for check-in and registrati­on. The marathon begins at 7 a.m., followed by the half-marathon at 7:20 a.m. and the 10k at 7:40 a.m. WHERE: The race begins at Cocopah Casino, and follows the northbound shoulder of Highway 95 between the Cocopah Resort and the San Luis City limits.

Thursday Feb. 3 THURSDAY JAZZ IN THE PARK

WHEN: 6-8 p.m.

WHERE: Colorado River State Historic Park, 201 N 4th Ave. GOING ON: The popular Yuma Big Band will excite with favorites from the swing era and beyond. Food and drink options will be available for purchase, and attendees need to bring their own seating.

This concert is one in a series presented by KAWC88.9FM and KOFA94.7FM, in partnershi­p with the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area.
