Saturday April 23 IT TAKES A VILLAGE 5K FUN RUN/ WALK

GOING ON: We will be running in memorial of the children who have lost their lives to cancer, and in support of the children still fighting. Following the run, join us for food, entertainm­ent, vendors, and activities for the kids as we celebrate and honor the little warriors of Yuma. 100% of profits made from this event will be benefiting local Yuma families. CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

GOING ON: It’s a fun, family-friendly festival that is supported by dozens of local organizati­ons, schools, and art education supporters. For nearly 30 years, the festival has taken over Main Street with 50+ arts and crafts booths full of make and take projects for attendees.

All activity booths are free for attendees. The festival also features performanc­es by local dance studios and music groups, a special youth art exhibition inside the Yuma Art Center, a kids jumper zone, and several food vendors!
