GOING ON: The Yuma Aces Vintage Base Ball Club will host an informatio­nal meeting and player recruitmen­t. Attendees will learn about the game of vintage baseball, and how to become involved. The Club is committed to preserving the history of the game, and actually playing it as it was played in the 1860s.

SOMERTON TAMALE FESTIVAL

WHERE: Main Street, Somerton GOING ON: Arizona State University (ASU) El Diablito Alumni Chapter will sponsor the 15th Annual Somerton Tamale Festival. The chapter has, over the past 19 years, provided over $400,000 in scholarshi­ps to local students attending ASU.
