NGHỀ LÀM MUỐI Ở BẠC LIÊU LÀ DI SẢN VĂN HÓA PHI VẬT THỂ QUỐC GIA

Ngày 31/12/2020, “Nghề làm muối ở Bạc Liêu” đã được chứng nhận là Di sản Văn hóa Phi vật thể Quốc gia. Theo Sở VH-TT&DL tỉnh Bạc Liêu, với bề dày hơn trăm năm, nghề làm muối đã trở thành văn hóa của vùng đất Bạc Liêu, phản ánh được bản sắc, điều kiện tự nhiên độc đáo của địa phương là làm ra hạt muối vị ngọt, không có vị đắng, vị chát - đây chính là tinh hoa được lưu truyền từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác của diêm dân Bạc Liêu.

Tại Bạc Liêu, nghề làm muối tập trung chủ yếu tại hai huyện Đông Hải và Hòa Bình, diện tích khoảng 1.360 ha với gần 900 hộ dân làm nghề.

TWO CHAM SCULPTURE ANTIQUES RECOGNIZED AS NATIONAL TREASURES

The two statues of Ganesha and Gajasimha, kept at the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang, were recognized as National Treasures on January 1, 2021. The Ganesha statue of sandstone material (95 cm high, 48 cm long, 34 cm wide) was discovered in 1903 at My Son relic (Quang Nam).

This is one of the rare sculpture in the round showing the deity in the standing form, still relatively intact, large in size with many unique stylistic features in the early stage (about the 7th-8th century) in the development of Champa sculpture. Gajasimha statue of sandstone material (215 cm high, 100 cm long, 84 cm wide), was found in an excavation at the Mam Tower (Binh Dinh) in 1933-1934. The statue has artistic features of one of the latest stages - the style of the Mam Tower (about the 12-13th century) in the development of Champa sculpture.
