Pride will destroy HH
claim to have forgiven people who arrested him as if he did not do anything wrong.
Rev. Kaela pointed out that the Mongu saga was not a thing that could go unnoticed as it had even shocked the international community. He said in an interview with the Daily Nation that Mr Hichilema should have taken advantage of the prayer service to admit his mistakes before claiming to forgive anyone.
Rev. Kaela said the UPND leader needed prayers from everyone as it was clear that he had lost touch with reality.
“Hakainde needs to own up. When I have done something wrong, let me acknowledge my mistakes. It also helps reintegrate back into society. He needs prayers as he has completely lost touch with reality and not acknowledging his mistakes will hinder him from integrating back into society amicably,” Rev Kaela said.
He advise the UPND president to humble himself and own up to his atrocities as it was clear that the stunt he pulled in Mongu was wrong.
Rev. Kaela emphasised that there was no need for Mr Hichilema to continue deceiving people as if he was just a victim of circumstances.
Meanwhile, Rev. Kaela also advised Mr Hichilema to keep in mind that all leadership came from God and that forcing matters would not change anything.
And Mr Chanda said Mr Hichilema’s motive was greed and self-serving and therefore, those with the gift of knowledge in the UPND must get worried with the leadership style.
Mr Chanda said with the hallucinations exposed at the press briefing in South Africa, even the little public sympathy he might had gained fizzled out because Zambians could now see that he was a political flake.
“Because of his lies he cannot be taken seriously.
“Hichilema does not care about his voters. All he wants is self-anointing. He is even going to go to great lengths to associate with the likes of expelled PF member Chishimba Kambwili, who is another political desperado, confusing Hichilema for the Michael Sata legacy, thinking that will get him into State House,” Mr Chanda said.
