OPEN LETTER TO LUAPULA MINISTER MR NICKSON CHILANGWA

-

Dear Hon. Chilangwa, I WRITE as a Luapulahite whose biological mother originates from Chama Village, Chief Chama in Kawambwa, Pambashe Constituency.

Though I reside in Lusaka, I have been following the development agenda of both Kawambwa and Mwense districts because of my ancestral connections.

Above all, God did not make any mistake at all to have me connected to Luapula Province.

Recently, we are seeing political fanatics with an evil agenda of unseating you as Patriotic Front provincial chairman.

This agenda of fighting you with a view of removing you from your position is a satan-inspired ploy to discredit you in the sight of the appointing authority - President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

At the confluence of this evil plan, a firm stand must be made by level-headed people from Luapula Province hence this mail.

Honourable Minister Sir, Oliver Wendell Holmes once wrote “Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness, of hatred, of jealousy, and, most easily of all, the gate of fear.”

The people propagating your removal are people who are puffed up with jealousy and hatred.

These are people who are allergic to poverty and under-development and do not want people who have an aggressive developmental agenda.

The principle of “Deep calls unto deep” is at work as poverty mentality syndrome is dragging them down like the gravitational force until they reach a point of no return.

Honourable, do not focus on these political lumpens who cannot read the current political environment.

They tried it in 2016 when they wanted to stop your adoption as Member of Parliament for Kawambwa Constituency.

I remember very well when Kawambwa PF central constituency made the call at a meeting chaired by Kawambwa central constituency chairperson, John Chisanga (I do not know if he is still there because I have no interest in those who want to pull down others so they can climb the ladder fast) attended by six PF district officials, eight ward chairpersons and representatives of 450 branches to stop your adoption and they failed lamentably.

The same political fanatics fighting you have failed at all levels of political dispensation in this land and will never see any good in a person.

I had been monitoring the massive development activities from Chiengi through Mwense to Lunga district since August 2014.

The coming in of you as provincial minister combined with Mr Ronald Chitotela has brought enormous development in the province.

The Luapula Expo and Investment Conference have yielded positive results and hats off to your leadership for you single-handedly organised this great meeting.

I remember vividly when PF Kawambwa central constituency information and publicity secretary Cosmas Nyemba (I do not know if he is still holding the position) stressed that there will be no 50 per cent plus one vote for President Lungu if he does not withdraw the adoption of Mr Chilangwa.

What really happened after the elections? You were adopted and His Excellency Edgar Chagwa Lungu got more than 50+1 to the shame of these political destituteness at play.

To you Sir, I ask you to continue with the same zeal and humbleness as you serve the nation with the fear of the Lord.

People will always talk…. Some people are simply agents of Lucifer with the demonic agenda of PULL HIM DOWN SYNDROME.

You can understand them from that level- Stone Age analysis!

Political offices entail one to be a servant and not a boss. Stay focused and let them talk. One of my favourite trade unionist the late Francis Kunda once quoted the words of Anthony Liccione “A fool is made more of a fool, when their mouth is more open than their mind.”

Let them open their mouths wide while you do the work. We will surely get back into Kawambwa to campaign for you provided there is development in the land of our ancestors.

Thank you for being there for Zambia, it needs level headed leadership.

Yours faithfully, Evangelist Chishala Mpundu Mwaba

Lusaka.
