Zambia is on the path to prosperity without HH
Dear Editor,
IF Hakainde Hichilema (HH) is thinking that Zambia will not achieve its full potential growth without him, then he is dreaming wildly.
Zambians have realised that it is important to support practical politicians as opposed to theorists who do not understand their own rhetoric like HH.
How can an educated opposition leader go to campaign against his country to former colonial masters, as if that is not silly enough, he goes on to bow before small boys Musi Maimane and Julius Malema of South Africa to paint his country black .
Although part of the theme of the 2018 national budget stresses the need not to leave any one behind, we are already on the path to prosperity without HH.
Look, the man has tried to engage private radio stations, known tax evaders who try daily to image build a difficult man to sell.
He has further paid some unscrupulous international journalists to tarnish our country and now through his capitalist friends, he has gone to bed with some gay right champions that hide in the name of donors to the third world.
His activities must not worry the PF Government. All they need to do now is balance up infrastructure development and human development.
Already the government has done exceptionally well in the area of infrastructure development, now they can do well to focus their attention to human development.
The Zambian people will teach HH yet another lesson in 2021 because his only ‘sontable’ points will be his clappers the capitalists.
Members of PF must concentrate on performing and fulfilling the electoral promises and explain to Zambians why certain decision are taken and ignore HH's activities that have no positive bearing on the welfare of Zambians.
Already, President Edgar Lungu has set an example of a good leader, by keeping his cool and still offers an olive branch to those that call him names.
If it was HH who had leadership qualities like Lungu's, I have no doubt, he could have bought air space and booked space in all newspapers to advertise them.
But look, Lungu knows that what he possesses belongs to God. He uses his qualities to serve mankind in a dignified manner. HH will continue to mourn and insult without much results. He who laughs last laughs loudest, he may think he is making political progress by being positively report in the media but the real progress will be seen at the ballot, we will see by what percentage he will lose with in 2021.
For now we can just wish him well for he is God's creation as well. Enock Chulu, Lusaka
