Shoddy ZSIC swift cash operations

Dear Editor

I am one of the clients of the Zambia State Insurance (ZSIC) swift save account holders for the past 3 years. According to the terms and conditions a client’s request for payment is to be processed within 21 working days.

However to my disappointment and disbelief it has taken more than three (3) months which is more than 90 days to have my payment processed.

Could this inefficiency be one of the reasons parastatals are underperforming and risking closure?

I have since closed this swift account.
