DANDY, MIMI PLUS MORE GO ‘CRAZY’ AT AMBASSADOR WINE GIG
MUSICIAN Wesley Chibambo popularly known as Dandy Krazy delivered to most people’s expectations at the Ambassador Wine music show held in Garden House area at the Ambassador Wines premises last Friday.
The singer who was promoting his latest album ‘I Switch’ received massive support from the patrons and his fellow artistes including his sister Mimi Crazy who was also in the place as a curtain raiser.
Dandy and Mimi have worked together on many occasions and their combination usually sparks lots of excitement from the fans. Although the show was specifically meant for the ‘Donchi Kubeba’ singer and his protégé Evaristo who has also worked hard to earn a name for himself, the night was not short of surprise performances.
These were performances mainly from Dandy’s peers and music students that included the MC for the night Kadoli and Rich Bizzy the man with Chimwemwe Dance.
There was also supporting acts from Ambassador Wine’s usual artiste Faggy and a lot more from Garden House.
However, it was Mimi and Dandy’s music craziness that enchanted patrons. Dandy took a ride into his new music collection from the ‘I Switch’ album giving out most of the tracks that have now dominated local airplay. He was effectively backed by Evaristo who is still enjoying his efforts on Dalisoul’s ‘Chikanda Mbwelenge’. Evaristo also performed his own tracks set for his debut album.
Later, Dandy Krazy sealed the fan when he took patrons back in memory lane giving out some of his hit songs including ‘Mbuyo yamama’ and ‘Lubuto’ among others, in a show that closed way after midnight.
