INSULTING PRESIDENT LUNGU NOT SOLUTION TO KAMBWILI’S PROBLEMS

- Jay Kabemba, Lusaka.

Dear Editor, INSULTING President Edgar Lungu will not take PF Roan MP Chishimba Kambwili anywhere except to his downfall.

I don’t know what he has seen in President Lungu that annoys him so much that he should resort to insults.

Mr Kambwili should know that when an individual lashes out at another, it’s a defence mechanism. They could be scared of being exposed.

Their behaviour is a product of feelings and issues they are trying to cope with that have nothing to do with the other person.

It would appear to me therefore that Mr Kambwili is exhibiting some imbalance of harmony in his life which requires controlling before it is too late. And I think so far the President has been extremely open on the issues of corruption that all those with evidence of the scourge were free to report them to relevant authorities for action.

So why is Mr Kambwili wasting his time talking the President’s corruption instead of reporting it to, say the Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC) with proof.

Indeed, it is not only the alleged corruption by the President which needed to be reported with proof but it includes even those of other PF members Mr Kambwili has been accusing.

But on the other hand if Mr Kambwili has been merely blowing hot air, then it is time that he was taught some lesson by way of suing him in our courts of law.

Since Mr Kambwili is still a member of PF why can’t the disciplinary committee of the party swing into action and bring some disciplinary action against him?

He can’t deny that he is still PF because that is what he is. It is PF which took him to Parliament which gives him an opportunity to insult the PF government. Others call it biting the finger that feeds you.

All in all, there is always a limit one can go on offending others at will. The day of reckoning for Mr Kambwili is just round the corner.

It is just a matter of time.
