MMD WARNS KAMBWILI OVER RB ATTACKS
MMD National youth chairperson Dauzeni S Tembo has cautioned Roan Member of Parliament, Chishimba Kambwili to stop character assassination against the MMD and former republican president, Rupiya Banda.
"We find this continued attack on MMD and our former president to be disrespectful, childish and unreasonable," he said.
The National youth Chairperson said that it is illogical for Chishimba Kambwili to insinuate that Rupiya Banda (RB) has been influencing President Edgar Lungu when RB he’s not active in politics.
Mr Tembo said that he is aware that Mr Kambwili was using character assassination as a tool to make political mileage but that should not give him the muscle to discredit our former president.
He said that Kambwili was just a comedian who wanted to ride on the name of the late president Sara to seek attention plus NDC is just a bunch of frustrated individuals who thought PF belonged to them only.
"We want to urge politicians to accord respect to our former head of state. We need to practice politics of morality that will champion and improve the well-being of people.
Mr Tembo said that as MMD they are challenging Mr Kambwili to come out publicly and tell the people of Zambia that he is the president of NDC as well as inform them about their aspirations for Zambia if at all they get voted into power.
"As we know Zambia faces a lot of challenges in the agricultural, mining and other sectors of the economy hence we need a leader that is going to suggest alternatives of sorting these problems other than just yapping uncontrollably," he said.
He further cautioned Kambwili to stay away from MMD otherwise he will be dealt with because they had no bone to chew with him.
