Kamwena, Vorna Valley/Ndeke Village residents up in arms against Meanwood Property Developers

-

Dear Editor,

We residents of the above residential areas wish to denounce the attitude by Meanwood Property Development Corporation limited.

It is barbaric, unreasonable and inhumane to stop residents to plough some maize for consumption in those plots left undeveloped by the so-called owners of the plots.

Since independence, we have never witnessed such inhumane, barbaric and unreasonable behaviour to stop residents from ploughing a few maize in undeveloped land.

Meanwood Property Development Corporation ltd failed to develop these areas when they sold plots to Zambians.

There were no proper roads, no water to use when building a structure at each plot.

Hence most people have failed to develop their land for fear more expenses to draw water from other places.

These are petty issues which Meanwood should have thought about this issue than concentrating on petty issues.

It is illogical to issue petty warnings to our esteemed residents.

There are no illegal settlers in these areas as most of them are care takers who were given authority by the developers to keep their plots.

It is again inhumane, barbaric and unreasonable by Meanwood to demolish make shits at Cairo market, bus stop, in Kamwena, Vorna valley/Ndeke village.

These area belong to Chongwe District Council not mean wood who are too inhumane and cruel in handling simple issue.

Any reasonable Zambian with the heart of a human being cannot demolish without consulting Chongwe District Council.

We residents are not animals to be treated like foreigners in our own country theses unthinkable and crooked entity which too cruel on Zambian people.

If there are any unreasonable person who went to report to this useless Meanwood is barbaric, unreasonable and foolish because there are no markets constructed Chongwe District Council and moreover the wives of these cruel and foolish landlord buy vegetables for their homes.

We therefore appeal to our Member of parliament Mr Japhen Mwakalombe, Madido ward Councillor e Mr Mathew Ngosa and indeed the Council Secretary for Chongwe to intervene in these two matters or else we shall march to the Council Secretary in protest over these barbaric, inhumane and unreasonable behaviour by this crooked company. Concerned resident,

 ?? ?? Mr Mwakalombe
