We have a president in State House

Editor,

We have so many problems that need our leaders to crack heads on especially to reduce poverty levels. It’s so embarrassing that the Copperbelt with its role in the economy is being run by some leaders who seem to have lost a sense of purpose. Please let’s attach seriousness to governance. Campaigns are over, it’s time to work; we have a president in State House. We want to see action James Mwanza

Hurting Matero water blues

Editor,

The water situation in Matero is certainly getting out of control. It is either our Lusaka water or Sewerage Company has plugged its ears to the suffering of resident of this compound. The erratic water supply has now become a scandal to say the least. Those of who have flushing toilets, the agony is beyond description. But who will come to our aid because our MP appears to have gone on leave. Angry Matero resident

Juju will not help HH

Editor,

What is this I hear about Hakainde Hichilema turning to witchcraft? Just where is this country going with such leaders vying for State House? My fear is that if HH went into State House he will not leave it easily because he appears to believe in dark forces just like his business partner Chief Mukuni who openly boasted that he spends night at cemeteries at night. Teacher recruitment unfair

Editor,

Why did they not recruit teachers according to the year of completion of the course? But instead recruited those who are recent graduates and left out us who completed in 2014 and 2015, it wasn’t fair. Concerned citizen

Right on Miles Sampa!

Mr Miles Sampa has done the right thing because ECL is the man for the job. Remember there are no permanent enemies in politics. Katiyo Chilanga

Zambia needs serious development

Editor,

Travelling along the length and breadth of this republic of Zambia, convinces me that our country is truly ripe for a radical revolution as a way of taking realistic development to politically neglected areas of motherland. It is sad that places so near to Lusaka could have no clinic, proper roads yet we have had leaders since independence. C.M, LSK

FAZ can do better than that

Editor,

What incentives can be better than money? Those Under-20 boys have parents who will guide them on how to use their money. The age of the boys should not worry or help FAZ to deny them what they deserve. Come on FAZ you can do better than that. In any case can you be specific on what incentives you are promising our hard working boys. Soccer lover
