My plans for Zambia scare me-Kansiime

- By TERENCE MISELO

AFRICAN queen of comedy Annie Kansiime has revealed she has serious plans to entertain Zambia during her show scheduled for 2018 Valentine's period.

Declaring herself ready for the show which will be held in Lusaka at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in February, Kansiime says the plans to entertain her fans in Zambia scare her because she will give her very best.

Kansiime declared she is more than ready for Zambia and will be glad to partner with local artistes and comedians for the show being called 'Tikonda'.

On this show, Kansiime will be supported by Mukushi Accents, which is a comedy dual of Kapembwa and Kayster of Tilowa fame.

This event has been initiated by a combination of event managers that include locally-based Bizzy Wizzy Entertainments and United States of America-based Zambian promoter Papa Sylve.

The organisers have since opened themselves up for partnership to see the show meet its expected standards.

Kansiime is Ugandan born comedian who has captured Africa's attention with her unique plays and sketches revealing modern-day social and economic life. She has become a huge influence on the African entertainment platform.

Her coming to Zambia next year is set to attract huge attention and help cement Zambia-Uganda cultural values.
