Who can unseat PF?
IT will take decades to unseat the Patriotic Front (PF) government because of its able leadership, sound policies and zeal to deliver development to the people, says PF Mandevu constituency information and publicity secretary, Lemmy Bwalya.
And Mr Bwalya has applauded PF secretary-general, Davis Mwila for refusing to respond to critics bent on seeing him fail to deliver.
He reiterated that it would take decades for any political party to unseat PF because of the good approach and development agenda it had embarked on.
Mr Bwalya, who is in Swaziland, told the Daily Nation that the direction to the party structures by Mr Mwila was timely and helping to grow its membership.
He said that the current mood in the party was fuel enough to propel everyone to pull up their socks and position the party for victory in 2021.
Mr Bwalya said that as a constituency, they have always been in high gear because of good illustrations from all the party leadership.
“Good illustrations from the party leaders are trickling down to our Lusaka district executive committee headed by our district chairman Stafford Kayame, and all other constituencies are adapting. It will take more than decades to unseat the PF government,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Bwalya applauded Mr Mwila for ignoring his critics bent on seeing him fail to do his job.
He said that the PF secretary-general was selfless and that he should continue being loyal to President Edgar Lungu who appointed him.
Mr Bwalya assured Mr Mwila of support from Mandevu constituency and commitment in carrying out party mobilisation.
