Simataa cautions City Yamoto fans
THE City of Lusaka Football Club Plc will not accept any responsibility and liability arising from payments for services rendered, or business and banking performance with unauthorised persons, consultant Simataa Simataa has warned.
Responding to the clubs executive’s call for would-be members to deposit their fees in a First National Bank (FNB) account number 62681588128, Simataa expressed concern over the unauthorised use of the football club's name for purposes of membership subscription, fundraising and other soccer matters.
Simataa emphasised that the City of Lusaka Football Club executive committee was redundant following the restructured administration to conform to FAZ Licencing requirements and registration for the 2018 season.
“City of Lusaka Football PLC is concerned about the unauthorised use of its football club's name for purposes of membership subscription, fundraising and soccer matters,
“City of Lusaka Football Club PLC will not accept any responsibility and liability arising out of payments for services rendered, or business and banking performance with unauthorized persons.
“City of Lusaka Football Club is owned by the City of Lusaka Football Club PLC as a soccer team which plays in FAZ leagues. It is NOT a separate legal person. It exists at the pleasure of the company,” Simataa said.
Executive committee general secretary Christopher Chilongo could not be immediately reached for a comment.
