Doomsayers warned
DISGRUNTLED individuals in the habit of insulting the President and bent on provoking the ruling party should now expect retaliation, the Patriotic Front (PF) in Lusaka’s Mandevu constituency has warned.
Constituency secretary, Lemmy Bwalya said “enough is enough” to quietly watching the party and republican President being insulted.
Mr Bwalya said that doomsayers should not even waste time asking how the retaliation would be done but just keep in mind those insulting would not go scot free going forward.
He warned expelled member PF, Chishimba Kambwili and others bent on undermining the Presidency that their acts should expect retaliation.
Mr Bwalya said that Mandevu constituents were now going to protect votes, the presidency and the party against disgruntled individuals who were trying to make them lose focus.
“Let me take this opportunity to warn Mr Kambwili and all those that have continued to provoke us through the insults against our President that we have watched you doing all sorts of nonsense against our President and we are saying enough is enough.
“We are now going to protect our votes, the presidency and the President. How we are going to do it doesn't matter but be warned,” he said.
Mr Bwalya charged that Zambians were mature and well informed and that no disgruntled individual would sway them into believing baseless accusations.
He said that Mr Kambwili’s cheap politics of insults only showed his childishness and that he was just embarrassing himself.
“When Mwenya Musenge, Chishimba Kambwili and now Mulusa, were in government, they were not corrupt, so was the party. However, now that they have been fired and some expelled, it’s when they are seeing the corruption they never saw,” said Mr Bwalya.
