MMD chief Nakacinda roasts Kambwili
CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI must be the last person to talk about tribalism because he is the one who promoted it and divided the nation through his brutal remarks against ethnic groups, MMD national secretary Raphael Nakacinda has charged.
Mr Nakacinda advised the Zambian people not to take him (Kambwili) seriously because his behaviour could be shown in the manner he related to people when he was Government spokesperson.
He said Mr Kambwili was privileged to be a government spokesperson who was supposed to lead by exchange, but to the contrary, and instead used abusive language to people.
Mr Nakacinda said Mr Kambwili could not be trusted with power, noting that could be the worst meeting to make, and that his attitude could not change.
“You can know the real person when he is given an opportunity to lead, and as for Mr Kambwili he consistently insulted other people, which was not a good sign of a good leader.
And that was the time he disqualified himself from leadership, and whatever he says now is only aimed at seeking sympathy from the same innocent Zambians he insulted for several times,” he said.
He said only humble leaders’ deserved leadership and that individuals like Mr Kambwili’s attitude towards the people had already cost him, saying all those apologies about the tribal remarks against Southerners was fake. He said Mr Kambwili has failed politically, and that he should only be forgiven for his past deeds, but that does not mean that he had leadership qualities that could lure Zambians to support him.
“Suppose Mr Kambwili is given power to lead this nation, more will be expect because we could see how he portrayed himself just when he was a minister, what more can we expect from him other than that brutality leadership,” he said.
