I Am Not Surprised With Hon. Harry Kalaba's Resignation If True

- MAXWELL CHONGU PF DIE HARD

GOOD Evening fellow countrymen and women, comrades from the Patriotic Front Party, all protocols observed.

Truthfully speaking if someone was to ask me about my opinion on the news making rounds on social media and PF blogs regarding Hon. Harry Kalaba my honest answer will be that am not surprised with the resignation for i saw it coming long time ago as per my article i wrote about the foreign affairs minister and Bahati area member of parliament.

To me as an upcoming young politician and possible political advisor iam happy that my article that was received with mixed feelings from the PF circles when i published it has today been vindicated with this diplomatic rumour about Hon. Harry Kalaba's resignation. I am also very much aware that the step and decision taken by Hon. Harry Kalaba is not really genuine in the best interest of the people of Zambia and the nation at large but to enhance personal political mileage.

Let me make mention to PF members and Zambians at large that this move is cosmetic which happens to be a well calculated political stunt to easily gain political leverage by the bahati MP.

To me i can only liken this move to what the late President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa (mhsriep) genuinely did which won him trust and confidence from the people of Zambia.

With no doubt Hon. Harry Kalaba is trying hard to be a copycat. Hon. Harry Kalaba has been in government since 2011, what took him so long to see and expose corruption ?

Why has Hon. Harry Kalaba all of the sudden become vocal and somehow anti-PF government?

Is it just a coincidence that after the president appointed members of central committee and Hon. Harry Kalaba was omitted that's when he has suddenly seen corruption?

Yes iam not going to say he's not a factor, for i know he's a factor looking at what he's been doing behind the scenes but am not going to be fooled by such a cheap political stunt.

Youths in the party we have been cheerleaders for quite some time now, on top of that we have been fooled enough by selfish leaders who neglect us but only to seek for our sympathy and support when they are out of favour or not in good standing with the leadership. It's our time as youths to stand up and be counted in government decision making processes, government portfolios and party PF positions.

I wish to make my humble appeal to the PF leadership to consider diverting the attention and energy from most of our already established leaders who have proved not once or twice but many times to be disloyal to the party and the President bringing it to the YOUTHS who seem to be loyal and dedicated to the party PF and president Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

Please take note that these sentiments in no way do they represent the official position of the party PF but purely my personal opinion.
