I AM NOT QUITTING PF

…My DNA and bones are PF -Tutwa

- By SIMON MUNTEMBA and BENNIE MUNDANDO

OUTSPOKEN lawyer and Kabwe Central Member of Parliament, Tutwa Ngulube, has shamed his critics who thought he would resign from the PF saying he would not quit because his DNA and bones are PF.

Mr Ngulube, who is seen to be taking a hard stance against the PF on a number of issues, said he was not leaving the Patriotic Front anytime soon.

Mr Ngulube said it did not mean he was a rebel for simply reminding the ruling party to fulfil promises it made during the 2016 campaign period.

“I am not going anywhere, I am around, my DNA is PF and my bones are PF,” Mr Ngulube said.

To tell your party the problems you are facing in your constituency, he said, does not make you a rebel.

Meanwhile the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) has advised Mr Tutwa to leave the party alone for his alleged failure to break into top government position.

MMD national treasurer Christopher Banda said the party was at a loss for words for an MP to claim that its national secretary, Mr Raphael Nakachinda was in Kabwe a few weeks ago to mobilise the MMD and that he promised to field a candidate against the PF in 2021 general elections when there was nothing like that.

“I would love to advise my brother to direct his frustrations elsewhere. MMD has been a very loyal partner in this alliance and we have no time to start exchanging sentiments with an individual who obviously has his own personal issues with his party,” Mr Banda said.
