CHISHIMBA Kambwili is in panic mode after receiving a police call out and has accused State House of planning to arrest him, but he should just be man enough and face the law, Chilufya Tayali has charged.
Mocking Kambwili for his face saving gimmick of holding a facebook briefing at which he alleged receiving some intelligence briefing of his briefing directed by State House Tayali said, Kambwili should take full responsibility over his misdeeds rather than blaming President Edgar Lungu when the law visits him for alleged fraudulent activities.
Mr Tayali who is Economic and Equity Party (EEP) leader accused the Roan constituency lawmaker of fearing to be arrested for his alleged fraudulent activities and in the process making up conspiracy allegations.
In his Facebook briefing Kambwili claimed that police had been instructed by State House to find anything incriminating in order to arrest and detain him today.
But Mr Tayali rubbished Mr Kambwili’s allegations saying he was just trying to use State House as a scapegoat of his misdeeds.
“In fact President Lungu has been shielding him for a long time because I reported Kambwili over illegalities way back before he was fired. I am glad the case is moving now though I feel the police took long to act.
“I have all the evidence and let them just arrest him and I am very much ready to go to court. Let PF government stay away from this case because I started this case alone and I will finish it by testifying in court,” an exited Tayali said.
He said Mr Kambwili was just developing cold feet because he knew that he allegedly com- mitted a crime adding that he should just man up and face him in court.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday, Mr Kambwili alleged that State House directed the police to arrest and detain him without bond on trumped up fraud charges.
To date Kambwili has failed to explain publicly how he claims to own Mwamona Engineering Company when his name does not appear on PACRA entries. A search by Daily Nation proved that Kambwili was not a shareholder inspite of his claims.
