Mr Chilangwa told the Daily Nation yesterday that the symposium would be held from February 12-13 and is expected to be attended by both old and prospecting companies.

The minister disclosed that following the successful hosting of the Luapula Expo and Investment Conference last year, over 50 investors have expressed interest in investing in the province.

“Some investors have already hit the ground running while others are inching closer to their investment destinations.

“However, the country is anxious to know about the levels of investment currently taking place in Luapula Province, hence the need for the symposium in Samfya,” Mr Chilangwa said.
