Zambia should learn from Rwanda
Dear Editor,
WHAT Rwanda has done with its economy and keeping the nation clean and orderly should be a lesson to all Africans.
It’s sad that we a nation that has been stable for so many years and has more natural resources than Rwanda is learning from a small brother.
It’s the same as a Grade 12 being taught by a Grade 9 but this is what is happening, why can’t we wake up as Zambians?
It’s such a sad situation. Go to Rwanda and you won’t find senior government officers gallivanting in latest SUVs because that country has prioritised the use of funds on the development of its human resource through the ICT sector, agriculture and tourism.
Nothing to do with minerals! Zambia rise to the occasion!
One hopes that President Lungu has been exposed to investment strategies and finance vehicles Rwanda has employed coming from the genocide period than “mortgaging” the country to the Chinese through contracting unsustainable debt, shady deals and questionable arrangements bordering on corruption.
The president ought to learn those basics considerations to achieve a better organised society.
He could also find out from Ian Khama how they have stirred a country less endowed with natural resources than Zambia but with an economy that continues to perform better, and by far less corrupt. 2020VISION AND FLY ON THE WALL
