UPND HAS NO HOPE FOR 2021- MUSOMA

-

By JUSTINA MULENGA THE opposition UPND has lost all hope of scooping the 2021 presidential elections because they have realised that Zambians are not gullible to fall for their cheap propaganda, Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) president Wright Musoma has observed.

Mr Musoma said that the realisation that UPND could not dislodge the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) from power was now tormenting the opposition party.

He pointed out that the lies and cheap propaganda being peddled by the UPND leadership was clear sign that all hope was lost and the future was now open.

Mr Musoma was reacting to UPND spokesperson, Charles Kakoma’s claims that the ruling party had already rigged the 2021 elections following its pronouncement ballot papers for that election would be printed locally. He said that the opposition UPND was already smelling an embarrassing defeat and was now bent on coming up with an excuse even before the election.

Mr Musoma reiterated in an interview that the UPND would stand at nothing to ensure that it blind folded its membership even at the verge of total defeat.

“The UPND have realised that things still won’t go their way even in 2021 because the ruling party has scored so much. This is really tormenting and eating them up so will keep on peddling lies to have an excuse,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Musoma said the comment by the UPND spokesperson indicated that UPND had already conceded defeat and that would not win the 2021 general elections.

He charged that the printing of the ballot papers locally had been the cry of the UPND for a very long time and now government had only succumbed to that call.

Mr Musoma said that UPND was just dancing to its own tune and that any further innuendos from the opposition party should not be tolerated.
