COMMONWEALTH TARGETS ZAMBIA FOR REGIME CHANGE

-

Dear Editor,

IT must be clear to Africans who follow politics that Britain after breaking away from the European Union (EU) is desperately trying to regain control of its strategic former colonies and in Zambia it using its local puppets in red uniforms to help the UPND.

Other former colonial masters are supporting this effort because of their desire to fight the growing Chinese influence on the continent,

It is against this background that Zambians should not be fooled by the presence of the Commonwealth team led by Professor Ibrahim Gambari whose country Nigeria is in worse off situation than Zambia.

Boko Haram is kidnapping innocent schools girls daily but that does not bother Prof Gambari or his fellow Nigerian General Olusegun Obasanjo who have made peaceful Zambia their easy target after being sent to do so by their Western imperialist masters.

The truth is that the Commonwealth wants to find a way of helping UPND and its leader Hakainde Hichilema (HH) to find a loop hole into power after losing five times.

They know that he stands no chance of winning through the ballot hence the desperation that even Armageddon was already considered. As Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) correctly put it, we should not allow Britain to destroy the peace Zambia is enjoying as a sovereign nation.

Our government should maintain its stand that dialogue should only be under the already existing body called the ZCID

We also believe that it is high time that government should launch an open investigation into how HH acquired those billions of dollars which he has banked outside Zambia.

As stated in our petition letter to the Queen of England in her capacity as Head of the Commonwealth, we don’t want Britain to use underhand methods in Zambia because we believe that they are our brothers and sisters with more in common than the Chinese whose social and cultural values Zambians do not understand,

Zambians feel safer with the British. There is therefore no need for Britain to use tricks or men in red uniforms who are endangering Zambia with their desperation politics.

Britain must learn from the unnecessary damage it has inflicted on Libya as to find a more civilized approach on how to get back to former colonies instead of promoting chaos and confusion.
