Nevers re-launches `Zambia Shall Be Saved’

- By AARON CHIYANZO

NEVERS Mumba, overseer of Victory Ministries International will be launching Zambia Shall Be Saved programme on television aimed at practically infusing Christian values into Zambian Politics in Lusaka this Saturday.

Dr Mumba launched the renowned event in Kitwe on January 27, 2018.

Zambia Shall Be Saved is the signature vision of Dr Mumba to practically infuse Christian values into Zambian Politics.

Dr Mumba entered the political arena 23 years ago and is currently in a power struggle for the Presidency of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) with Minister of Works and Supply, Felix Mutati.

The clergyman and politician told Daily Nation that he was far from retiring from active politics but would continue preaching.

“Not at all (not retiring). We are busy preparing for the Convention which we shall be announcing soon. But I have never stopped preaching, it's just that this time around the team took my preaching to National Television,” he said. Earlier, He said in a statement that he believed that the same God who called him to preach, was the same God who has called him to infuse morality and integrity in politics through direct participation.

Mr Mumba said that through the ministry of Zambia Shall Be Saved, he would combine the values of strong spirituality, practical leadership, and prophetic action. “The Zambia Shall Be Saved vision is premised on the principle that the equitable delivery of goods and services to any people depends the morality and integrity of its leaders.

This is a cause for which I am ready to pay the highest price and to sacrifice all of me to achieve,” he said.

This Saturday, Zambians from all walks of life will stream to Lusaka’s Government Complex at 18:00hrs to hear Mr Mumba preach, what he terms, a message of direction for the nation.
