Punish whoever allowed in that fake medical student at Chipata Level One hospital

-

I was baffled reading in one of the newspapers about the 27-year-old Zimbabwean Mac Xunga who masqueraded as a Ridgeway campus medical student at Chipata level one hospital in Lusaka claiming to be on attachment.

I was even more petrified with the level of inattention by the management or whoever was responsible for the welcoming of this clever young man.

As a student personally, I understand that whenever one is required to be attached to an institution, proper procedure should be followed.

The application for attachment should be accompanied by specific documents and in many cases include a letter from the learning institution for purposes of proof among other things.

It is clear that our government workers in these institutions could care less about who is responsible for the lives of the people as long as they have a little help on their hands.

I mean this individual could not even give a simple computer number.

I urge whoever has the top hand at that hospital to take necessary disciplinary action on whoever welcomed this man.

Such behaviour may open doors to criminals that are out to steal very sensitive information or even do something worse considering the times we are living in. Please let this be a wakeup call!
