Prudential boost Zanaco Masters

PRUDENTIAL Life Assurance Zambia Ltd has joined the race to sponsor this year’s Zanaco Masters Golf Championship scheduled to tee off on 10th April at Lusaka Golf Club.
And speaking after presenting a total sum of US$10,000 to the Championships Organising Committee led by Roy Penny, Prudential Chief Operating Officer, Damian McGeown, said Prudential was committed to supporting the growth of golf in Zambia.
McGeown noted that the firm supports the 2018 Zanaco Masters Golf Championship in the spirit of enhancing Zambia’s sportsmanship for growth.
“Prudential Zambia is happy to contribute US$10,000 to the continued success of the Zanaco Masters Golf Championship. We support this event in the spirit of enhancing Zambia’s sportsmanship for growth.
“Prudential Zambia, as a team, are proud to be a part of this event and hope this great initiative continues to create more bonds for success in the years to come. Prudential is looking forward to participating in the tournament and wishes the organising committee success,” McGeown said.
And 2018 Zanaco Master Golf Championship Organising Committee chairman, Roy Penny has reaffirmed his commitment to organize a successful championship.
Speaking after receiving the donation, Penny commended Prudential Life Assurance for pledging to support the golf championship which will feature foreign golfers from 21 countries and will see 20 local golfers representing Zambia.
Penney said that the Zanaco Masters golf tournament was crucial as it contributed to the development of golf in Zambia.
He added that the support rendered would help the tournament's organising committee to host a successful championship.
