NAREP trashes new Socialist Party By NATION REPORTER
NATIONAL Restoration party is not shaken by the formation of the Sociality Party because it is just a stem from the failed Rainbow Party under Wynter Kabimba., says national secretary Ezra Ngulube.
Mr Ngulube said the Socialist Party was a breakaway from the Wyinter Kabimba led party that has failed to convince Zambians people of its ideologies.
“To us this is not something new, because this is Rainbow Party part 2, because the same people that are behind the Socialist Party are the same people that formed the Rainbow,
“Now even before the Rainbow party clocks two years, it has seen a break away which has demonstrated poor leadership which failed to sell the ideology of their party,” he said.
He said NAREP not surprised nor were they shaken by the formation of the 0’membe led 6ocialist Party as it was no threat in the current political scenario.
But Mr Ngulube has on the other hand welcomed Mr 0’membe to provide credible politics by giving sound advice to Government.
Mr Ngulube has since warned politicians to avoid engaging in tribal politics as it had the potential to divide the nation.
Mr Ngulube advised politicians against insulting their own country, which constituency they looked forward to ruling one day.
He said it was unacceptable to have national leaders who failed to properly look at Zambia as their own country.
“As they practice politics let them make sure they play politics of national unity,
“/et us desist from talking ill about the country we want to lead one day, but instead we must put Zambia first, to be patriotic to our own country,” he said.
