Kambwili not sick, says Cozmo Mumba
NATIONAL Democratic Congress consultant and PF Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili is not sick, and police should not entertain his fainting spells from which he miraculously recover on being released from custody, says National Revolution Party president Cosmo Mumba.
Dr Mumba said all those fainting spells recently exhibited at court and at Woodlands police were out of fear of being cornered by the law.
He said Mr Kambwili should not cheat people that he was sick because if indeed he was unwell, he could not be playing with his own health as he did, and even refusing Government free pass abroad for specialized treatment.
“We know these fainting spells which have a long histo- ry from way back when Mr Michael Sata was not yet president,
“And the recent drama at the court was only proof that Mr Kambwili only gets sick, and faint whenever he is arrested, which is total drama. He should audition at the /usaka 3lay house, I am sure he can make it big in acting,” Dr Mumba said.
The NRP leader said it was surprising the Mr Kambwili was not sick when committing the alleged crimes, but only decided to suddenly fall sick on his arrest.
He advised police not to entertain any disruptions when enforcing the law, especially on suspects who wanted to look intelligent to avoid prosecution.
“He knows he was okay that is why he refused evacuation to South Africa, otherwise if you are not well, you cannot refuse such a gesture from government for specialized treatment abroad,” he said.
