CHASING AFTER THE WIND

-

Dear Editor

THIS talk about the President not being Zambian is a diversionary chasing after the wind because it is meaningless.

Firstly it is not for the person being accused to prove a point, it is for those making the accusation to do so. If Mulongoti and his colleagues have anything to say, let them prove it. Let them tell them prove their case rather than make allegations and then sit back as the debate if fuelled by equally disgruntled people.

There is very little doubt that Zambia is under very serious attack from certain sections of society determined to bring confusion and anarchy in this peaceful oasis.

We have a perfect example of confusion in one of our neighbouring countries from which we are receiving refugees. This situation could very easily befall us if we allow divisive forces to separate us on account of regional, ethnic and other consideration. It is very easy to cause conflict but almost impossible to bring peace once conflagration has arisen.

The question which people must certainly ask is; why has this argument started now. Where was Mulongoti to only discover today that the man he supported during the campaign for Presidency.

I will not be surprised if Mulongoti expected a position in the Government and I am not surprised he did not get any because he is not the type of person to be trusted.

Time will tell what this campaign is all about Clement Chimuziya
