Beware of mercenaries, Zambians warned

- By NATION REPORTER

ZAMBIANS should remain careful and desist from playing into the hands of the global forces of darkness causing chaos and bloodshed across the world, says Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) president Edwin Sakala.

Mr. Sakala said ZDDM was concerned about the future of Zambia because some citizens had lost the spirit of nationalism and patriotism and were carelessly siding with foreignfunded organisations with destructive agendas.

He said as one of the oldest political parties in Zambia, ZDDM was advising citizens to be careful how they supported various political parties and learned from what happened in Syria and Libya.

In a statement issued yesterday, the opposition leader said the primitive politics of hate, violence, insults and tribalism were a danger to the future of Zambia, saying challenges would always be there but what was important was how they were handled.

“Zambia continues to be a destination for people from trouble-torn countries in Africa because it is among the few countries in the world still enjoying Peace.

Unfortunately most Zambians are taking this peace for granted.

“There is indeed urgent need for Zambians to realise the fact that the war between God and Satan is as real as the air we breathe,” he said.

Mr Sakala prodded citizens to continue praying for Zambia’s peace, saying the war between good and evil was real and that it was not limited to Zambia or the African Continent but also affected great leaders.
