Rexious to launch new video at Empire
...as Jonto returns
Budding artiste Rexious plans to launch his latest video of his song ‘Maria’ at Empire Nightclub in Emmasdale next week.
The artiste whose video was shot and produced by Alicats Pub Productions in South Africa says the launch is a means of presenting himself to his fans and give them an idea of what his music will be about this year.
“I have worked very hard on this video and my idea is to let people see what I have been working on and eventually what is expected of me,” he says.
The song for this video features Freeman HKD Boss from Zimbabwe and it is Rexious wish to do more collaborations. ‘returnedis a love song that talks about a certain lady Rexious is madly in love with. The launch at Empire will be on June 2nd and will start at 20:00hours.
Meanwhile, Jonto, a pioneer of current Zed music has returned after some silence with a new video dubbed ‘Sepe’ and a full album
The video and album were released last week and are available online.
“Our plan is to sell online and will release some hard copies later in the future. I have worked with a number of producers and artistes. I maintained my old producers because they understand how I work and we’ve had some good chemistry since inception. Both TK and Jerry Fingers are behind my hits in my last three albums,” says Jonto.
“So, even after a very long break, I still had to work with them to dig out those hits and we worked exceptionally well.With a lot of new blood in the industry, I also had to work with new blood so I worked a lot with Kidman.”
The album has 16 tracks and addresses various issues.
“My message to my fans is that they should expect nothing but the best from me and I love them all. There is no me without them.”
