I know dynamics of politics-Lungu

- By NATION REPORTER

I KNOW the dynamics of politics and North Western Province will become the stronghold of the Patriotic Front (PF), says President Edgar Lungu.

Speaking in Solwezi yesterday when he received about

, defectors from the 8nited Party for 1ational 'evelopment 8P1' , President Lungu said he knew the dynamics of politics better than some people who were bent at misleading people.

‘’PF has already banked Central province, what is remaining is banking North western and :estern provinces and then we will be home and dry,’’ President Lungu said as the crowd applauded in unison whilst lifting the party symbol.

He said all the eyes of the entire central committee of the party were on North western, central and western provinces.

He urged the defectors to feel free and work with all party structures in growing the party in the province.

The defectors were led by former 8P1' mobilisation chairperson, Moses Kangwa.

$nd President Lungu said he had a duty to spread develop- ment to all parts of the country without segregation.

He said he was aware that he did not receive enough votes from some regions such as North western province but he is duty bound to take development even in those areas.

‘’And that is why despite the Solwezi Chingola road being in third phase of the link =ambia project, I decided to reverse that because it is my duty to develop every part of the country.

"I was in 'undumwezi, we are putting up towers there, roads are being constructed the same way we are here in North western province and people are happy, but the opposition are busy misleading people that I’am not the right man . But is it wrong for me to take development to regions where I was not voted for" $nd the crowd responded; no!!

He wondered what Zambia would become if he only took development only to areas where he received massive votes.

$nd 6peaking on behalf of the defectors, Mr Kangwa cited good Leadership from President Lungu as one of the biggest reasons for the defection.
