CHIFUBU MARKET UPGRADE TO COMMENCE SOON
THE upgr ading of Chifubu market into a modern structure is set begi n as funds for the project have been sourced, Chifubu Member of Parliament (MP) Frank Ng’ ambi has said.
Mr Ng`ambi revealed in an interview in Ndola that funds for the had been made available with the works to be done by the Zambia Army.
He said the contractor had already been paid and will soon move on site for the commencement of the project.
He appealed to traders at the market to bear with government for the inconvenience that would be caused during the upgrade as the completion would come with seYeral benefits.
And Mr Ng`ambi also said that Government would soon construct a first leYel hospital in the constituency.
He said the construction of the first leYel hospital would bring medical services closer to residents in Kawama, Chifubu and Overspill who had been walking long distances to access medical services.
³7he construction of the first level hospital will help promote health in my constituency for residents who had to walk from far off places to access health facilities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ng`ambi said he was so far impressed with the road works going on in Mitengo as it would reduce on the number of road traffic accidents and make movement quicker and safer for the residents of Mitengo area.
