DON’T USE SATA’S NAME

PF national youth executive committee member Francis Kapyanga has advised NDC consultant Chishimba Kambwili to stop using Sata’s name to gain political mileage.
In a statement to the Daily Nation yesterday, Mr Kapyanga said it was insulting and hypocritical for people like Mr Kambwili to continue to use late President Sata’s name with the sole agenda of gaining political mileage.
“It’s discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit. Many are the times that we Zambians are insulted by the hypocrisy of some selfish individuals like Mr Kambwili whose sole agenda is to use people for his political ambitions,’’ Kapyanga said.
Mr Kapyanga, who is also PF Muchinga Province youth coordinator said it is morally and politically wrong for someone who abused his membership in the Patriotic Front by undermining the party president and leadership all in the name of being a founding member to adopt the name of the late president as their campaign tool.
He said Mr Kambwili has his own political party and therefore is expected to use his own name or that of his family not Michael Chilufya Sata’s name.
Sata’s legacy and vision lies in the fundamentals of the Patriotic Front Party.
“President Lungu and other leaders in PF are the custodians of Sata’s legacy and will do everything possible to ensure that PF is safeguarded and preserved for the generations to come,’’ said Mr Kapyanga.
