UPND IS FAILING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
THE problem is that even if UPND has a mayor in Solwezi and a Member of Parliament in North Western Province, you don’t see any difference.
Corruption still exists and the mediocrity still continues.
If you go to other countries, you see a difference in areas run by opposition parties.
Their party president can stand on a platform and say look at that city A, B and C, we have changed service delivery there, removed street vendors, built libraries etc and that’s what we will do when we are in government.
But with UPND, it is just bums on seats and insulting President Edgar Lungu and his government daily.
Well, if what Mr Moonga Bilunda, the only UPND councillor in Lusaka who has defected to PF is saying is the gospel truth, of the party forgetting about him, then what’s the point of staying?
This is the disaster of immature politics. Imagine you vote for Kangwa Chileshe today as mayor and he resigns tomorrow citing the points I’ve raised.
Either Hakainde Hichilema (HH) doesn’t know how to run/ lead his party or the so called “only” councillor did not know how to do his job.
The reality though, is that UPND is a sheer waste of time. Imagine clueless HH as our national leader and he too resigns and joins the PF.
