Twins sacrifice salaries to support orphans

In an interview with the Mr Kalimanshi said he was happy that young identical twins Norwell and Jowell Mwanza, 24, had donated assorted food stŭ, books, chalk and clothes to 7emwani Rejoice Community School.

Mr Kalimanshi said he was impressed with the passion the twins had for helping less privileged in society, adding that the community school which had about 500 orphans and 200 old people, would greatly benefit from the donated items

“The donation was done by the twins Jowell and Noel Mwanza it was done at one of my orphanage schools in Kanyama, Temwani Rejoice community school.

He said the goods were worth K5, 000 money coming from the twins own salaries. Mr Kalimanshi urged young people to partner with him so that more vulnerable people could be helped in society adding that the vision of his NGO was to support people across the nation, young old and disabled.

Meanwhile, one of the twins Noel said they had decided to donate because of the passion they had for vulnerable children and the fact that they too were orphans.

They had also donated to Bupe and Mapalo, the Siamese twins who were recently operated on at the University Teaching Hospital, Mr Mwanza added.

Mr Mwanza explained that they decided to donate to Temwani Rejoice Community School because of the huge number of vulnerable children at the school. He said they were also compelled to donate because they had realised that there were too many vulnerable children in society who needed support.
