MTN COLOUR FEST IN ‘ YELLOW’ FUN WITH SAUTI SOL
By TERENCE MISELO KENYAN afro-pop band Sauti Sol tomorrow graces the MTN Colour Festival to be held at the Ndola Wanderers Club starting 10 hours.
The show which organisers AME Entertainment promises to be full of 'yellow' fun with the emphasis on family entertainment will also feature great local entertainers with musicians, Afunika, Shenky, Mwila and Dope Boyz leading the pack.
A number of top DJs have also been assembled to make the event which enters its third year a package of big fun. DJ Hussein, Sebastian Dutch, Double D, Virus and Zein Flex are all on the line up of local music spinners.They will be joined by PMS from Mozambique.
" This year's show will focus more on the family fun day out and there are lots of activities for children as well," emphasised the organisers of the event which has become one of the biggest events in the country.
As main performing artistes tomorrow, Sauti Sol formed in Nairobi by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005, will be looking out to give a full show to Zambian fans. Famously known for their hit single ' Melanin' featuring Patoranking, the visiting band is expected to attract a huge crowd for the event supported by various partners such as Urban Hotel, Skyprint, Sun FM, G. Rutherford, Phoenix, B.T Media and Double Trouble.
