Kambwili, Musenge political nonentities - Kamba

…as he calls on ‘prodigal sons’ to return to PF

- By NATION REPORTER

CHISHIMBA Kambwili and Mwenye Musenge are political non-entities with no muscles to change the political landscape in Zambia, says former Lusaka PF youth provincial secretary Kennedy Kamba.

Mr Kamba said that NDC’s poor performance in the just ended council chairpersons and Lusaka’s mayoral by-election was evidence enough that the two were ‘finished’ politicians.

But Mr Kamba, who is Lusaka Province aspiring candidate PF chairman has called on all ‘prodigal sons’ that left the ruling party after being duped by Mr Kambwili and Mr Musenge to return before it was too late.

In an interview yesterday, Mr Kamba said poor performance by NDC in the by-election was an evidence that Zambians were not interested in bitter and visionless leaders. NDC’s Saboi Imboela came fourth in the Lusaka mayoral by-elections after polling 2, 645 behind PAC’s Petersen Mukubesa on the third position with 7, 741.

In second place was UPND’s Kangwa Chileshe with 36,754 while Miles Sampa of the ruling PF had 81,936 votes.

Mr Kamba said the poor performance by NDC was proof of poor leadership of Mr Kambwili and Mr Musenge whom he described as political nonentities with a facade of unattainable ideologies.

He said that the Zambians rejected the NDC because it lacked mature leadership.

Meanwhile, Mr Kamba has advised former PF members who left the party for one reason or another to come back to the ruling party, saying they would be welcome as the boat was not yet full. The prodigal sons should come back to their senses and return to PF because the NDC is not taking them anywhere. “The boat is not full, that is why the PF leadership and President Edgar Lungu have continued to embrace new comers and even giving them positions,” Mr Kamba said.
