THOUSANDS THRONG MTN COLOURFEST

- By TERENCE MISELO

MUSIC, food, drinks, dance and lots of fun characterised the MTN ColourFest held last Saturday at Wanderers Club in Ndola.

The event which was attended by thousands of spectators from all walks of life was the town's biggest spotlight that accorded a variety of entertainment with a touch of colour.

Most attendees described it as “the biggest ever” and ideal to be the town's attraction for years to come.

"The attendance was awesome, the performances were excellent and so was the food. This show also brought families together and there was great family fun," said musician Dandy Krazy, who was among the thousands of spectactors. Though he was not entirely on the official programme 'andy could not resist the temptation from the fans to have him perform.

This he did, sampling his new track called ' Utuntu' all to the satisfaction of the highly supportive crowd. Before Dandy were a chain of other local acts that gave their best in stage performance. Afunika, Wilz, Dope Boys, Shenky and D-Boy Telem, MC Steve from SunFM, Kayster and Kapembwa from Tilowa were the supporting acts who each pleased the huge crowd with their uniqueness.

The highlight of the event however was the performance from the headline act ' Sauti Sol' of Kenya. Encouraged by a massive crowd, the visiting band famously known for its hit song “Melanin” delivered beTyoandbelxe- pectations. People danced and sang along to their common tracks.

All these stage activities were blended with an impressive input from various top notch DJs like Sebastian Dutch, Virus, Zein, Hussein to name only a few.

The MTN ColourFest will surely go down as one of the most attended shows this year and it's all praises to AME Entertainments for a well-excuted event.
