ZCCM-IH DECLARES K135M DIVIDEND
ByB USINESS REPORTER ZCCM-IH has declar ed a divi dend wor th K81.4 million to Industrial Deve lop ment Cor por at ion (IDC).
Thi s is out of the tot al K 135 million divi dend whi ch the com pa ny de clared yesterday.
“We ha ve declared 35 pe rcent … as you all know IDC ow ns 60.2 pe rcent sha res in ZCCM-IH.
“We are put ting a smile on IDC toda y, as you all know =&&M made a profit of nearly K 720 million. As such we ha ve to declare 35 pe rcent of tha t. The tot al divi dend be ing declared is K 135 million,” said ZCCM-IH CEO Dr Pius Kasol o.
Dr Kasol o said thi s during the ha ndove r of the divi dend cheTue held at ID& offices in Lusaka .
He said tha t ZCCM-IH was one of the large st divi dend pa yer inI DC gr oup.

“For us at IDC thi s resour ce will be utilised cons istent with our manda te. IDC depe nds on divi dends tha t com e from com pa ni es in the gr oup. It is from the se funds tha t we are abl e toi nve st inne w pr oj ects.
“Thi s is a ha py day for us. ZCCM-IH is one of the large st com pa ni es in the IDC por tfol io. It’s ve ry impor tant for us tha t com pa ni es in the IDC gr oup pe rfor m well espe cially com pa ni es,” he said.
Mr Kaluba said one of the mos t impor tant aspe cts of ZCCM-IH was tha t it was listed ont he stoc ke xc ha nge .
“The President ha s directed IDC tha t all com pa ni es are ultimately listed on the stoc k exc ha nge .
