The minister said this when he inspected improvements made to the ap laces of bot h traditiona l leaders in =ambe]i
Mr Sicha lwe said it was gr atifying tha t the cont ractor wor ki ng on Seni or Chi ef Ishindi¶s palace had been eTual to the task, despi te the ne ed to make some variations on the structure
He added that he was impressed with the construction of &hief Mpidi¶s palace and commended &hisomark &ontractors for starting the proMect using their own resources
“*overnment appreciates the cont ractor for starting works before receiving the first instalment of funds
<ou have shown that you are true partners of *overnment and we shall surely engage you to carry out other proMects,´ Mr Sichalwe said
He said he was hopeful that the two structures would be commissioned by the end of $ugust
Meanwhile, an adviser Simeon Makalu who spoke on be ha lf of Chi ef Mpi di tha nke d *overnment for building a new palace for his chiefdom
He also ape aled to *overnment to consider working on the roa d whi ch cone cted the chiefdom to =ambe]i town as it was in a bad state
