Chilubanama smells victory

CHONGWE PF chairperson Austine Bhota and more than 20 councilors in Lusaka Province have endorsed the candidature of Lusaka Province aspiring chairperson Emmanuel Chilubanama.

The councilors are William Mwansa, Dorcas Mwamba, Penelope Mwenda, Annie Chinyanta, Maureen Mwenya,Doris Chileshe and Catherine Manda.

Others are Daniel Chanda, Mvula Lasiwe, Wisdom Phiri, Titus Tembo, Francis Tembo and Innocent Chuzu. Others are Catherine Phiri,Piyo Lambwe among others.

Ms. Chinyanta who is Matero constituency said it was high time party members ushered in a leadership that would take the party to higher heights.

Speaking during the campaign in Luangwa yesterday Ms. Chinyanta said there was need for delegates to vote for a leader with the vision to grow the party.

“Please I am begging every one; let's vote for a person with new ideas not those who have failed us,”she said.

Meanwhile Mr Chilubanama said party members must not be bought by aspiring candidates but vote for a genuine person who would drive party policies.

He said the party must not be influenced by those with bad motives.

“Let’s do a right thing please. I am really begging you, I am not a pretender, “he said.

He said there was also need to scrutinize those vying for positions so that members could make right decisions.
