Bullets face Tamanga Juldans test
INDY Bullets FC’s winning streak in the 2018/2019 Wildcat ZFL futsal league comes under scrutiny this afternoon when the 2017 league runners-up face Tamanga Juldan in a week 11-fixture at Automotive Futsal Arena in Lusaka.
Coach Witson Nyirenda, Bullets are undefeated in the last nine fixtures and will target maximum points when they face Tamanga Juldan to maintain their position on the league table.
Bullets who have only lost to the league leaders and defending champions, Automotive FC, are on second position on the log with 27-points, three points behind league leaders Automotive FC. Tamanga Juldan will seek maximum points to maintain their winning streak after beating Alliance Inter 6-0 last weekend.
Meanwhile, Andrea Cristoforetti’s Automotive FC will take on George FC who dropped points with a 4-4 draw with Printech FC a week ago. Going into this fixture, Automotive are the favourites as they boast of having the most lethal squad in the league with 117 goals scored in ten league matches.
Undefeated in the league, Automotive FC top the tables with 30-points while George FC is on eighth position on the log with 11-points collected from three wins, two draws and five losses.
Castle Five FC have a tricky fixture against K-Line FC who walloped Parmalat 10-3 in their last league game.
Following their 15-4 thumping of CSS Futsal Club, Castle Five coached by Mutale Simbeye are seeking a top four finish to qualify for the next round which will see the top eight teams doing battle for the championship.
In other fixtures, CSS Futsal Club will seek redemption from their 15-4 defeat to Castle Five when they face Vector Academy while Pembe Beetles and Printech FC resume their rivalry when the two teams clash.
Tomorrow’s action will see Alliance Inter Taking on Saints Gomes before Parmalat and Chiparamba FC’s meeting at Automotive Futsal Arena.
