Kitwe United not underdogs
Dear Editor,
WHILE I watched ZANACO FC play Kitwe United on Sunday whom they beat 4-3, I saw a lot of great potential from Kitwe United, despite losing the match.
On the other hand it’s good Zanaco maintained its unbeaten run in the 2019 MTN/FAZ transitional Super League after overcoming the Kitwe outfit at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
A brace from striker Rodger Kola and a goal apiece from former Power Dynamos winger Julius Situmbeko plus an own goal from Kyawa Kapota guaranteed Zanaco’s triumph in front of their home fans who are yet to witness their team dropping points since the new season commenced three weeks ago.

opportunity in as early as the fourth minute when Rodger Kola put Zanaco in the lead after beating the Kitwe United goal keeper Lameck Siame after benefiting from Chitiya Mususu’s cross.
One could see that Zanaco’s running power in attack nearly brought them a second goal in the sixth minute but were unfortunate when Situmbeko found speedy winger Ernest Mbewe whose shot on target was saved by the goal keeper.
