‘Radiants will bounce back’

- By MICHAEL MIYOBA

LUMWANA Radiants defender Enock Chingwele is confident that his team will end its poor which has seen the club move to bottom on the stream-B transitional MTN/FAZ Super League table.

Radiants have failed to win any game in the opening three fixtures which saw them holding Nkana 2-2 in a week-1 fixture before recording two consecutive defeats to new comers Circuit City FC and Buildcon FC.

Despite the poor start, Chingwele, who is a regular feature in Radiants defence says the team will redeem itself from its poor run.

Speaking in an interview, Chingwele attributed

Radiants poor form to the player transfer window which saw most of the teams’ dependable players joining other clubs in the Super league.

Chingwele is however confident that the new players who have joined the team will make positive contributions to the side.

“The poor start hasn’t disturbed the team's confidence levels. I think the loss of regular players when their contracts expired and some were on loan, has caused our shaky start. Key players we lost such as Obed Masumbuko to Nkana, Kelvin Kapumbu to Zanaco, Hosea Silwimba to Lusaka Dynamos and Mweemba has affected our performance but we are trying all we can to know each other, the old and the new players.“The bond is already there with the coach we have and we will bounce back to our winning ways in no time. I am confident of that. We just urge our fans not to lose confidence in us, we need as much support as they can give us, we will deliver the results,” Chingwele said. Radiants next fixture will be against Mohamed Fathi’s NAPSA Stars who are fifth on the 10-team stream B log with four points collected from a one draw, one win and one lose in the first three

games.
